About Inform

INFORM CZ (division of company MEDIATEL, spol. s r.o.) has been one of the leading providers of company databases both in printed and electronic form for 19 years. The company was transformed from originally Czech company Inform Katalog, s.r.o. by capital entry of foreign investors. It operates web pages www.inform.cz, one of the most frequently used source of information about companies on the Czech Internet.

1990

The company Inform Katalog, s.r.o., is established, INFORM KATALOG published for the first time.

1993

Scope of products enlarged Business Directory and Czech Exporters and Importers.

1997

Entry of foreign partners Telenor Media (Findexa) and TDC Forlag. Company capital strengthening.

1998

Web pages www.inform.cz put into operation, first on-line database of companies.

2001

Offer of our products extended by regional edition of Business Directory. Implementation of new information system.

2002

Cooperation with T-Mobile started, operators of T-Mobile Asistent service provide information about companies from our database on line 1183

2003

Modernization and re-design of company products, printed materials and web pages www.inform.cz.

2004

Publishing of printed directory of accommodation facilities and on-line database of accommodation facilities.

2005

Introduction of „Inquiries”, - possibility to gain new customers or ask for favourable offer of products or services.
Accommodation becomes the widest database of accommodation facilities, more than 5 thousand records.

Re-design of www.inform.cz web pages, new functions, easier search for companies and orientation in portal structure.

2007

We are entering the Slovak market with our product Inform Katalog Slovakia. This database of Slovak companies is available on internet at www.e-firmy.sk.

2009

The new internet services Call for free and Video are now offered.
The registration of the national merger of our company INFORM Ltd. and MEDIATEL LLC to the Trade Register took place on October 22, 2009.

2010

The scope of internet services has been extened to include a Free call service which we offer in cooperation with the service provider SKYPE.
The new B2B market with a number of new services is being launched in february 2010.
